Last updated: October 17, 2026. This policy applies to the Everyday Index website and is maintained by its operator, Sienith Management. Privacy enquiries can be made through the contact page.
Information you provide
Public articles and data pages can be read without creating a visitor account. If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message and any other information you choose to send. We use it to handle the enquiry, respond and investigate reported issues.
We do not sell enquiry information. We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the matter and maintain necessary records. You can contact us about access, correction or deletion of information you have sent.
Hosting, security and external services
The site uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for article storage, images and administrator authentication. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, access times and request logs to deliver and secure their services. Processing may occur outside your country. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy and Supabase’s Privacy Policy.
Embedded images may be loaded from Supabase or an external source, which receives the request needed to deliver the image. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own policies.
Browser storage and administrator tools
Administrator sign-in uses browser session storage to maintain the editing session. The optional local writing tool stores drafts in local storage on the browser where they were created. These features are separate from reading public pages.
When an administrator uses source translation, source display text may be processed by an on-device browser translator or OpenAI. In the server translation feature, URLs are replaced with placeholders and response storage is disabled in the API request. No visitor enquiries are sent through this translation feature.
Advertising and cookies
At present, this site does not use Google AdSense advertising or Google Analytics tracking. The following describes how Google advertising may work if it is enabled on this site.
When Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Other participating advertising vendors may also use cookies or similar technologies.
You can manage personalised Google advertising through My Ad Center. Participating third-party vendors’ personalised advertising choices are available through AboutAds. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Where required, choices and consent controls will be provided before optional advertising technologies are used. Browser settings also let you restrict cookies and remove locally stored data; doing so may affect some features.
Policy updates
We update this policy when the site’s services or data practices change. The revision date above indicates the latest update. Contact the operator with questions about this policy or the handling of your information.
